UCC Summer Camp Opportunities
Silver Lake Summer Camp & Conference Center
Nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Berkshires of Litchfield County, Silver Lake Conference Center is the home of the Outdoor Ministries of the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ. Each summer, Silver Lake continues the proud tradition of being the vibrant church camp for up to 1,300 fourth graders through high school-age young people. These week-long "conferences" offer "once-in-a-lifetime experiences, over and over" to several generations of youth, helping to shape future leaders and spirited community-builders everywhere.
Star Island
Star Island United Church of Christ, Inc. offers a spiritual environment for individuals and families to gather in community through children, youth and adult programs, worship, arts and music, and recreation. All are welcome. Star Island is one of the rocky, wind-swept Isles of Shoals, located off the coast of Rye, New Hampshire. For over 100 years, summers here have provided individuals and families with a welcome respite from their busy mainland lives.
