From Pastor Alison, after the bombings at the Boston Marathon:
Today, we join hearts to pray for all those who have been affected by the bombings at the Boston Marathon. Every time something like this happens, it rocks our world. We weep with those who experienced the terror directly; we share their grief and their fear. We feel a little more vulnerable today, and perhaps a little more connected to strangers. May that rawness lead us not to shut down but to live from a place of deeper compassion. In the words of a colleague, Rev. John Gage, "Let us pray... for people wherever bombs are falling." And may we feel and share the assurance that Christ stands in every broken place.

Message from the Pastor
Dear Friends and Members of Saugatuck Church:
Our hearts are broken today. There's no sense, no logic, to violence. It yanks the rug out from underneath our feet. It leaves us disoriented and breathless. We look for our loved ones. We hug our children tighter. We weep. In the midst of today's pain and confusion, I've been holding on to the promise, so vivid during this Advent season, that God shows up right in the middle of the dark and despair… Read more…

Volunteer to Help Saugatuck Church
We are gratified and humbled by the outpouring of support we have received from the community since a devastating fire struck our church. Many of you have asked, "How can I help?" or have offered specific donations or skill sets to assist us as we move forward in our rebuilding process. So that we may keep track of these many wonderful offers, we've established a form so that you can 'officially' register your offer of help with us.
Thank you so very much, and God bless.
