Craig Gillespie, Youth Choir Leader

Craig will be directing our Youth Choir, for young people in 5th-8th grade. He has been a musician in various capacities most of his life, becoming interested in bass (orchestral and bass-guitar), guitar, choral singing and musical theatre in high school. Though majoring and graduating with an English Literature major from Dickinson College, Craig was the tenor section leader for the chancel choir and studied classical guitar for most of his four years there. Having since developed an interest in song writing and acquiring two graduate degrees in the human services field, Craig now works as a Rehabilatation/Music Therapist at Hall-Brook Behavioural Health, in Westport, where he leads groups of children and youth in various music experiences. In recent years Craig has helped lead the youth music in Saugatuck’s Story Tent productions, and has provided leadership for our Contemporary Services.
