The SCC Missions Board will be hosting an event to package shelf-stable meal packets for local food pantries in Fairfield County. The Westport Rotaries are sponsoring this event, with additional financial support from the Norwalk and Wilton Rotaries. The event is being organized by the Outreach Program, a non-profit with a goal of ending world hunger.

We will need about 60 volunteers for the event itself and some additional volunteers from the church to help with welcoming the Rotary visitors while they are here. Visit the sign-up sheet to volunteer to help with set up (unpacking materials from vehicles and setting up), meal packing (assembly line fashion), or delivering/driving the finished boxes to the pantries.
