Bible Study

You are invited to join Pastor Steven for a weekly Bible study. “From Prophecy to Fulfillment: The Hebrew Bible Prophets and the Advent of Jesus” is the title of the Bible Study for the months of November and December. We will explore passages in the Hebrew Bible that foretell Jesus’ coming and how they are fulfilled.
If you would like to join the group, please ask Jill Madison in the church office for a study guide.
Tai Chi
Every Wednesday (No class 11/12, 11/19)

Room 109/110
The focus of this class is on relaxation, circulation of internal energy, balance, and flexibility to strengthen our body and soothe our mind. This class occurs weekly and is free and open to all. Please contact Ruby Shih if you’re interested at 917-816-6661 or via email.
VOICES
Every Thursday
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
via Zoom
This fall, you are invited to gather each Thursday evening over Zoom to listen and respond to a different chapter of The Great Search: Turning to Earth & Soul in the Quest for Healing and Home by acclaimed spiritual teacher John Philip Newell, former warden of Iona Abbey.
In this book, Newell re-envisions the common human search for presence, awareness, love, wisdom, and meaning — and points to guides from a variety of traditions, including Martin Buber, Carl Jung, Julian of Norwich, Rumi, and others.
While we will listen to the entire book, each chapter stands on its own so you can come when you can. Sessions will be facilitated by Michael Hendricks. For a Zoom link, please email Michael.
